"Snow Pals"

This was suppose to be an easy Copic coloring project, but the stamped image was only 1"x1.5".  That was one tiny area to color and I can't believe I used as many colors as I did!  Did I mention it was tiny?

This was for a "snowman" card swap on SCS.  I had a snowman image in mind and for whatever reason decided to go with this small wheel image by Stampin' Up.  I did really enjoy the Northern Flurry embossing plate (SU) that our UPS man was so kind to bring me today! 

Check out the colors those three buds are wearing!  The black .3 "multi liner" helped me out with parts of the image that didn't quite get enough ink, which allowed me to practice freehand!  :)

"Winter Stroll"

  Love this image by Penny Johnson!  Her lil' dog reminds me of our "Freddie Bear".
 I colored this up today for a swap on SCS.  I was short on time, so it needed to be a simple, quick assembly.
It was the first time I used the grey Copics. The very first Copic color I purchased was black.  Black.....of all their colors....I chose black.  Then I learned all about the grey families and had to get some in my possession!  I don't care to mix the warm greys with the cool greys, it just looks awkward.  But my stash is limited, so I had to make do with what I had!

Wow...I'm pretty amazed with myself right now!  The blog isn't much now, but ya gotta start sometime and I've had this on my list for a long time.  Check back soon for details and some serious coloring! ♥
